$DAY 5 - GROUND TYPE okay, first off I have to confess: this is actually an old drawing /)__(\ but I never uploaded it, so technically it’s a NEW drawing! ANYWAYS, it’s really hard for me to pick one particular ground type pokemon over another since I love basically all of them (aside from sandslash) but Torterra and I were buds during pearl version so he gets special treatment.$

Venusaur was my first pokebro, we conquered the elite 4 together in the hazy winter of ‘98. This was a toss-up between him and Swalot who was on my team back in emerald version, but I wouldn’t say Swalot is one of my faves. I’m a much bigger fan of poison ATTACKS like sludge bomb and poison jab!
